About Araceli Reynoso

“Fate rarely calls upon us at a moment of our choosing.” - Optimus Prime

Hi! My name is Araceli Reynoso, a current journalism student at The University of Texas at Austin, working toward my dream of working in the NFL. I’m a simple woman. I see anything football-related, and I click. I’m drawn to it, like a moth to a flame. I love sports as a whole; they’re enticing, and bring me levels of excitement I can’t even begin to describe. They’re all special in their own way, but the NFL has always had my heart. My father always had it on the TV when I was young, watching the Dallas Cowboys on primetime, with quarterback Tony Romo and tight end Jason Witten. Truthfully, I had no clue what was happening in these games; I just knew my father loved the team, so that meant I did too. I’ve done my very best to understand football because of my dad, even beyond the Cowboys. I will always be loyal to that ever-so-iconic star, but the league is my calling. I truly don’t think there’s anything I could love more.

Our founder, Ayo Green, is a close friend of mine who I met in a Dallas Cowboys group chat a few years ago, when I was still in high school. I never thought that a few years later, I’d have the chance to write for his platform, but I’m honored in every way. I joined BITT to further enhance my journalistic skills and to bring what I like to call a more ‘creative’ side to the world of sports, such as the things you don’t see, what isn’t talked about. We all watch sports, no matter what kind they are, how niche they may be. We love the athletes, the thrill, the wins, even the losses. Whichever team you may be loyal to, they’ve caused heartbreak for you at least once. We tend to yell at players from behind the TV, like we personally know them; it's so infuriating. The times when you feel all hope is lost, every season that goes by is another one wasted, talent that will eventually run out. But even then, you’ll never really leave. You can’t, your heart won’t let you. Trust me, I’ve been there too many times to count.

I aim to bring you compelling and engaging sports content, pieces that will have you so drawn in, you can’t put your phone down. I want to make you feel like you’re in the endzone, catching a pass from your favorite quarterback.

Welcome to the Table!
